Movie Review / Story
The film begins with Umaji’s (Vaibhav Mangle) buffalo Champya getting pregnant by Ankush’s (Bharat Jadhav) buffalo Dhondi. Then, if the two buffaloes are reunited, a love-hate relationship begins between the farmers. There is a parallel arc where a love story is also blossoming between the farmer’s children. Ankush’s son Aditya falls in love with Umaji’s daughter Ovi. The situation gets messy and takes a strange path forward.
Seeing Bharat Jadhav on the big screen after a long hiatus is heartwarming, but it leaves you with an unsatisfied aftertaste as he lacks the appeal he used to have. Vaibhav Mangle, our very own Shakal, doesn’t do anything new but you love him for this Ragini. The rest of the star cast doesn’t have much but they play their roles well.
